I've learned about % ΔRΔBICΔ because I follow Junichi Yamaguchi in my Instagram account. For starters, It originated in Japan and eventually opened in the Middle East and in Hong Kong, before it landed to the Philippines. I was so happy that their location it is just across our office in BGC.
We visited % ΔRΔBICΔ on their opening and glad to see Junichi, but because I was too shy to have a photo with him (and it was busy at that time), I just had my coffee. I was not expecting too much on how coffee would taste, though I was hoping that it would be as good as what I've been having for around 10 years.
As I've worked in the coffee industry for 10 years and initially, I never had the passion about coffee and I was more concerned about the business side of it. But along the way, I learned to enjoy coffee and now I always look for a distinct taste in my cup.
I always have their ΔRΔBICΔ Blend, which has a bold and chocolate-like characteristic that I enjoy most. But they also serve Single Origin coffee if you prefer a different taste profile which includes El Salvador, Guatemala, Ethiopia and others. Currently they primarily use El Salvador, which is bold with caramel and nutty taste profile. My friend tried Guatemala that I generally like and I'm glad she liked it as much as I do, it has a fragrant and sweet floral and sugary nutty characteristic.
Their staff are very accommodating (well, I usually go in the morning) and they're very kind when I request a specific latte art. You see as well that they enjoy each other's company and love what they are doing. They are very friendly, always have that great smile that you need in the morning which makes you feel like coming back again and again. Kudos to the morning peeps as you always start our day in a great note!
Their ambiance is minimalist that focuses on white providing an calm and welcoming atmosphere at any time of the day. Their bar area is a great centerpiece once you open the doors with coffee bean sacks lined-up creating a beautiful accent to their shop. The bar highlights two customized Slayer espresso machines (that I love and I wish I had one in my house). Their dining area is creatively done with their customized wooden tables, stools and benches that invites their customers to enjoy their time and be comfortable. If you are looking for merchandise items, they also have tumblers, canisters and bag on sale. And now they got 2 floors!

They also serve cookies and croissants, their cookies are priced at P110/ea and I have tried their Chocolate Cookie with almond and hazelnut. It was a perfect pair with my Cafe Latte that balances off the sweetness from the cookie. They also have a White Chocolate cookie with almond and macadamia. I've also tried their Chocolate Croissant and the chocolate filling is indulgent, again a perfect pair with my coffee. My only concern is that it's a bit pricey and very minimal choices.
